COVID Has Impacted The NHS Greatly

Covid has impacted the NHS greatly so much so that the government is calling for an increase in nurses, doctors and graduates of medicine. The government is proposing an increase of 5,000 students a year. This totals 14,500 graduates a year with future expansion on this number expected. 28,690 students applied for medicine in 2021 which is an increase of 21% from the previous year which is a phenomenal increase.
